Yesterday, I went back to the repair shop on my way home to check my car again. I was surprised because I saw the car's engine was opened the whole thing. I did not think it was serious. I told to the mechanic about my car. He told me that it will be finished this Saturday. However, before I went there, I always thought that it got ready for me to pick it up. Then I thought in my mind "THANKS GOD" because I could exercise these days to have good health before the test. I have to go to the bus station to take the bus in the morning, and when I go back home from school. It takes half an hour to get there and half an hour to go back home. This is a good exercise, isn't it? :)

::: Something New 2006 :::

Today I watched a romantic comedy movie "Something New 2006". This movie talked about a successful African-American woman, Kenya. She worked hard and no play, but she had a trouble in her life. Her new house decorated colorless furnishing like a hotel. She wanted to look for a black man to have relationship. One day at the wedding she met Brian, a handsome man. He is a landscape architect. Kenya hired Brian to transform her backyard. Day after day they fell in love each other, but few weeks later they broke up because she had a new boyfriend. At the ending, she recognized that she till loved old boyfriend, and she tried to find him at his place of work. Then they decided to marry.

::: A Busy Weekend :::

It was a busy day for me and my uncle's family yesterday because we went to China Town to buy some grocery. It was weekend, so I got up late. After that I watched a movie such as "Black Holes 2006". This movie is good for me because I love science fiction, and I want to find out about space. When my aunt got home from work, we went to China Town. The traffic was not bad, but the weather was not good. I loved the weather like last week. It took 45 minutes to get there. After we bought some grocery at Tan Tin Hung supermarket, we had a dinner at Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered some spring rolls, a bowl of noodles and beef, a bowl of Hue beef noodle soup and a bowl of special noodles. They were delicious. I have never been there for few months. When we got there, I liked a lot because it was crowded, and I loved to take a walk. We went back home after dinner. It was 8:00 p.m. We had a great time together.

::: Go Back To Take A Bus :::

I have never thought that it will happen soon because my car has broken for few days. It is at the repair shop now. I am so upset about this. I do not think I will take a bus again because I have a car. I think that NEVER SAY NEVER. My car is overheated. I had to swing by the repair shop on my way home from school in the evening. I told to mechanic about my car because I told him that I want to have it as soon as possible, but he said that it takes a week because he is busy right now. He has a lot of cars to repair. I felt so upset when I heard that. However, I told him that please do the best you can. He said, "OK. I will try". Because I work at the library, I finish my job late, that is why I need a car.

Today I watched the movie “Music and Lyrics” in my class. I was delighted to watch it because it made me feel happy. When my teacher told the class that we had to write a paragraph what would happen in the future from beginning to Alex met Sophie at high school’s party, I guessed Alex would fall in love with Sophie. At the end of the movie I was so happy because both of them understood each other. I knew it because I saw them kiss backstage. I hope that they will marry.

::: My Uncle's Birthday :::

Yesterday it was my uncle's birthday. I, my aunt and her children had some presents for him. When we finished dinner, then we watched a good movie "Smallville". Until 10 p.m we had a special cake for him with lots of candles. My aunt bought it from Korean market. While he was praying, I took some pictures for him. Then he cut the cake, and he shared out it among everybody. We ate it, and drank green tea. It was so delicious because it was not too sweet. Therefore, everybody loved it. He was delighted because everybody till remember his birthday. We had a great time together.

::: I Like These Movies :::

Yesterday I watched some movies "Home Alone 3 and 4" and I liked these movies a lot. The child in these movies was very smart. His name was Alex, and he was so cute. His tried to protect his house from some burglars. At the end of the movies he won the burglars, and they had to go to jail.

After taking a break, I watched a true movie like "A Beautiful Mind". When I was watching the movie, it made me so exciting because I wanted to find out what John was doing. He was crazy about math, this point made he had a mental illness after he won the Nobel Prize in 1994. He always thought about Parcher was a real person. John thought that he was working for the U.S. government. That was why he was fooling every day. When he became a teacher at Princeton University. At this place, he met Alicia, then she became his wife. A day she recognized her husband had a mental illness, so she tried to help him to overcome it. At the end of the movie he taught math at Harvard University. However, sometimes he saw Parcher showed up in front of him, and he knew this guy was not a real person. The movie was having a happy ending. Finally, John lived in a happy family with Alicia.

::: Circus :::

Last Friday I went to circus at my cousins' school. I went there with my uncle's family. It took 20 minutes to get there from our house. There were a lot of people in there. I was so excited with music because music was very good, and one of my favorite is I love to listen to music. I like any kind of music. At first, we watched Chinese Yo Yo. I watched lots of Chinese Yo Yo on T.V before, but this was the first time I have watched children performed. I love American children because they are so cute. There were a lot of circus act such as Plate Spinning, Devil Sticks, Ball Blance, Spinning Carpet, Bongo Boards, Pirates and Lemonade Clown. One of my favorite circus act was Lemonade Clown because a clown looked very funny. This was a kid, not an adult. We had a great time together.

::: A Sad Movie :::

Today I watched a movie "Dead Poet's Society". This movie was very sad because Neil wanted to be an actor but he could not. His father, Tom was a very strict person. Tom wanted his son to become a doctor, but his son did not want to be a doctor. His son wanted to become an actor. At the end of the movie was very sad. Because his son could not make his dream came true, he killed himself. In my opinion, I thought his father was so selfish. He did not think about what his son was thinking about. This movie liked the movie "Bend It Like Beckham" that I watched before.

::: Waitress 2007:::

Today I was happy to watch the movie "Waitress 2007". This was a drama movie. This movie talked about Jenna. She was a waitress, and she worked at Joe's Diner in a small town. She knew how to make a delicious cake, and she did a good job. However, Jenna was unhappily married because her husband, Earl, who always took the money she worked hard for. She found herself that she was pregnant with Earl. She kept a little money, waited for the day she had enough, and she could escape from him. However, her husband did not know about this plan. At the end of the movie, she obtained $25,000 pie contest prize money. Because she had a lot of money, she could take care of her baby, and she got away from her bad husband.

::: Dumb and Dumber :::

I just finished the movie "Dumb and Dumber". This was a comedy movie. The movie talked about Harry and Lloyd, they were the best friends. Lloyd was a taxi driver. After he took Mary to the airport, she loosed an important suitcase with full of money before she left for Aspen. Lloyd wanted to return this suitcase to her, and then he went with Harry to Aspen by their car. After a lot of accidents on their way to get Aspen such as a pair of criminals who wanted to get the money. Criminals followed Lloyd and Harry to Aspen. Moreover, Harry and Lloyd fell in love with Mary. Then they struggled together to win her heart. At the end of the movie, they found out that Mary already had a husband. Finally, they decided to come back their house.

::: This is a beautiful day :::

Yesterday I had a great time. I did not have to go to work. I stayed home and I did something I liked such as I watched some movies. Then in the afternoon I went to around a block with my cousin and his friend, Dalyan. It took more than 45 minutes because we just went around and around. After that we decided to go home to take a break few minutes, then we played a game. I meant that was a video game. Because it was a beautiful day, in the evening after we finished dinner, I and my uncle had a great time together because we lighted fire in the backyard, and we stayed up late. We talked to each other. While we were talking to one another, then the music came up. My uncle tried to find some good music, so we had an opportunity to understand more and more. I thought I won't forget this time.

::: My Niece :::

Cu Bin

Cam Tien

Today I will introduce about my nieces to everybody. My eldest sister has two children, Cam Tien and Cu Bin. Tien is 5 years old, and Bin is one year old right now. They are so beautiful. I love them very much. However, I have never met Bin since I came to the U.S. because at that time Bin was not borned yet. After that my sister send his pictures to me by the internet. Therefore, I hope one day in the future I will have an opportunity to see him. By the way I post their pictures for everybody to see them, and I hope that everybody will love them because they are so cute !

::: Museum Of Art :::

I remembered that I went to museum in New York City with my uncle's family last year. It is called The Metropolitan Museum Of Art. That is a big museum that I never see in my life. I was very happy to get there because I would like to know about American museum, and how it was interesting. However, my uncle's family bought tickets were more expensive than me because I had a student ID, I just paid half of price. After we went into the museum, we took a lot of pictures in there, and it took a day for us to go around into the museum. Everybody had a great time in there, it was special for me because that was a first time I was there. I hope I will come back there in the future.

::: April Fool's Day :::

Most people know that today is April 1st, so you can play jokes on people. For example, I just had 5 girlfriends last week. Isn't it exciting? Or you do not believe me? Okay then, I came back my country last night. Now do you believe me? Actually, I hope you do not. It is called April Fool's Day or April 1st. Do you have it in your country?

Nowdays somebody plays jokes on people on April 1st. After that they say "April Fool", then the poor person realizes he / she was fooled. Do you have any great jokes to play on anyone today? Try to do it out, do not forget to say "April Fool" when somebody looks a little bit confused.

::: My Aunt :::

Today I am telling you about my aunt. She is a good person. She is a good wife of my uncle, she knows how to take care of her children. There are a lot of things to describe about her.

She works hard because she likes to work. She told me that she would like to go to work everyday. Right now she just takes off on Wednesday, but when she stays home she does everything. I mean she does the housework. She doesn't have free time for herself. Everyday she has to get up early at 7:30 a.m because the kids have to take the school bus at 8:40 a.m. Even though sometimes she has to get up at 6:30 a.m because few days in the week the kids have extra work, so the kids have to do their personal things, and they have to have breakfast before they go to school. She has to prepare everything for the kids such as she has to cook breakfast everyday, and she calls them to take a shower etc. She usually goes to work after the kids go to school.

She often gets home from work at 7:00 p.m. Somtimes on her way from work she goes to supermarket to buy some stuff for house. If she gets home early, then she has to cook for dinner. Then after we finish dinner, she helps her daughter to do homework. This year her daughter studies in kindergarten, so she doesn't have a lot of homework everyday.

She usually reads a book for her daughter everyday before her daughter goes to bed. In my opinion, she is a good wife, and she is a good mother. One more thing, she is also friendly. When I have something to talk, then she is a first person I want to talk to. :)

::: Half Hollow Hills Community Library :::

Yesterday I went to public library in my town, Farmingdale. It was called Half Hollow Hills Community Library. This library is near my house. It takes 15 minutes to get there by car. This is a big library, and it was located in beautiful place. It has many trees around the library.
There are a lot of people who work in there. Most people in there are friendly, nice and beautiful. I did not see any men work in there. Maybe they work in these offices or other places in the library. I went there to learn English by myself and learn computer. I would like to learn computer such as create a website by PHP, XML, etc., research search engine optimization. I went there because it has lots of books and resources for me to research. When I stayed in there I felt the time elapsed very fast. I thought that I did not have enough time to study. While I was studying, then some students came and sat next to me. There are many students come here everyday, I was knew from some people who work in there because in front of the library is a school. The students came here to do their homework. Some of them read books, and talked to their friends. I saw a lot of parents came here to borrow some books for their children. This reason is never happened in my country, so I felt upset when I saw that.

::: Fishing In Spring :::

Today was a beautiful day. This was my first day of fishing in Spring. I went to my friend's house in the afternoon. Then we went to fishing at Jones Beach. However, we didn't catch any fish because this is not season for fishing, but we had a fun. We are going to come back Jones Beach in the summer. After that we decided to go home. On the way to go home, we went to the supermarket to buy some stuff to eat and drink. After few minutes when we got home, then some people came, they are my friend's relationship. We talked to each other, then we ate some things. It was a good day because we had a great time together.

::: Spring Break :::

These days I try to change my lifestyle because I think that it's good for me. I try to go to bed early and get up early. Every morning I exercise around the block near my house. During my friends have vacation in Spring Break, then I have to go to work. I work in the library. This week the library opens the whole week, but I only work on Monday and Tuesday. However, I am so happy because the library is so empty, just few students come here to do their homework or something else, and nobody bothers me. Tomorrow I am going to go to my friend's house. He is my good friend. We intend to go to fishing together. I hope we will have fun, so right now I am waiting until tomorrow. I don't know why Spring Break comes and goes so quickly. I am counting day by day. Even though in the weekend too, the time elapses super fast.

::: Easter Sunday :::

Yesterday was an Easter Sunday. I went to a church in the afternoon. That was American church, but we had Vietnamese Mass in there. There were a lot of people in there. The Mass began at 3:00 p.m, but I had to go there at 2:00 p.m because I am in the choir at church. I joined in the choir one and half month ago. It is very good because I can meet people the same my country every week. Actually, I go to the church every Sunday. After the Mass finished, we had a party. This party had around 200 people, I guessed that. While we were eating lots of Vietnamese food, then some shows came. These shows were interesting. People performed Tae Kwon Do. The party began at 5:00 p.m and it finished at 7:00 p.m. When the party finished, everybody helped to clean everything. I also helped them. After that I went home but my heart still in the church because I wanted to meet my new friend. Her name is Phuong Anh. She is very beautiful. I like her a lot. To be continued...

::: Good Marriage Equals Good Blood Pressure :::

This morning I read the news and I found out this article. The article showed me that a happy marriage is good for your blood pressure. Furthermore, people who married tend to be healthier than singles. When I read to this part, I was surprised because I thought that people who usually singled better than a couple of spouses because singles have more free time, and they can do whatever they want. Finally, this article is true. :)

::: American Pie - 1999 :::

Last night I watched the movie "American Pie - 1999". This movie was so interesting because I learned a lot of American cultures. The movie told about four guys who wanted to have sex with beautiful girls before they graduated. After that they seted up some plans for their goals by prom night. Finally, four of them achieved their goals.

This was a great movie that I haven't watched in my life. This movie talks about a young Irish guitarist who lost his parents when he was born. His name is Evan. He could hear music in everything around him, and he could make his own music. When he was 11 years old, at that time he had a chance to meet his parents again at concert. While Evan was playing music, his parents saw him and at that time Evan turned to the crowd, and they recognized each other.
